The sacred dance wing of Shivoham Tantra
At Shivoham Tantra, we have always believed that spirituality is not limited to meditation, ritual, or healing—it flows into every aspect of life. True tantra embraces the fullness of human expression, weaving together wisdom, healing, devotion, and the arts.
It is with this spirit that we are blessed to announce the launch of Kalādhara, the dance wing of Shivoham Tantra.
What is Kalādhara?
The word Kalādhara means “the bearer of arts”. Dance, in our lineage, is not merely a performance—it is a sacred practice, a moving meditation, and an offering to the Divine.
Through Kalādhara, we bring forth:
Bharatanatyam – the ancient temple dance of India, deeply rooted in the Natyashastra.
Traditional Indian Folk Dances – vibrant, soulful expressions of cultural devotion and collective joy.
Every movement, every rhythm, every abhinaya (expression) becomes a prayer.
Dance as Sadhana
In tantra, we say that the body itself is the temple of the Divine. Dance honors this truth.
The rhythm (tala) aligns us with the heartbeat of creation.
The gesture (mudra) becomes a mantra expressed through form.
The expression (abhinaya) becomes meditation in motion.
Thus, Kalādhara is not just a school of dance—it is a path of sadhana, where art and spirituality merge seamlessly.
What Kalādhara Offers
Online Classes & Workshops in Bharatanatyam and Indian folk traditions.
Spiritual Insights into Dance —understanding Natyashastra through the lens of tantra.

Through Kalādhara, students and seekers will experience dance not only as an art but as a way to awaken inner energy, grace, and devotion.
Dipti Rajkumar Baswar Tiwari, founder of Kalādhara – Nātya Sādhana of Shivoham, is both a spiritual teacher in the Shivoham Tantra lineage (revered as Gurumaa Dipti Baswar) and a devoted practitioner of Bharatanatyam and Indian folk dance.
She has been trained in the Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam under the guidance of her respected Guru, Mrs. Prerna Tuljapurkar. For Dipti, Bharatanatyam is not only an art form but a living sādhanā – where movement becomes meditation, rhythm becomes mantra, and expression becomes devotion.
With over 18 years of experience in Bharatanatyam and folk traditions, and 11 years of dedicated service, Dipti has shared her art with students and seekers, presenting dance as a sacred path.
Through Kalādhara, she carries forward this vision: dance as dhārā of ūrjā – a stream of sacred energy. Just like japa, yagna, and tantric kriyas, dance too can awaken kundalini shakti and lead the seeker into deeper states of consciousness.
